About Abi- Your Mum & Baby Yoga Teacher Bath

Hi, I'm Abi 👋

I'm a mum, a yoga teacher, a music lover, and a firm believer that everyone deserves a little space to breathe. You don't need to be flexible or to be able to stand on your head to come to one of my classes (unless you aspire to do this, of course); you just need to come along and take some precious time out for yourself!

For many years, I have balanced a demanding corporate career alongside family life, racing from meeting to nursery run, email to bedtime story. Like so many mums, I spent years looking after everyone else whilst quietly placing myself at the bottom of the list.

Yoga changed that.

It became my pause button. My reset. The place I could come back to when life felt busy, overwhelming or completely out of sync with my feminine energy and cycle.

My own yoga journey began during lockdown and a two-year fertility journey that tested me ALOT. I was living with Graves' disease and had been advised by the NHS to have my thyroid removed. Desperate to explore every possible option before surgery, I began working with a nutritionist who identified a gluten intolerance and encouraged me to find a way to better manage my stress.

That's when yoga found me.

Within a few months of regular yoga practice, dietary changes and a commitment to slowing down, my Graves' disease went into remission. I cancelled my thyroidectomy and, after two long years of trying, I finally fell pregnant with my son, Mason.

Yoga practise became the foundation that helped me reconnect with my body, calm my nervous system and trust myself again. It was the beginning of a completely different chapter of my life.

The experience was so transformative that I knew I wanted to share it with other women and families.
In 2023, I qualified as a 300-hour Women's Yoga Teacher with Yogabellies, specialising in yoga for women, pregnancy, postnatal recovery, babies, children, perimenopause and menopause.

Bliss Yoga Bath was born from a simple idea: yoga should feel welcoming, accessible and joyful. I genuinely want to build a community of parents who can come and just 'be' in my classes.

No pressure.
No perfect poses.
No intimidating vibes.

Just a warm, supportive space where women can move, breathe, reconnect and find a little calm amongst the chaos of everyday life.

My hope is that every class leaves you feeling a little calmer, a little stronger and a little more connected to yourself and your little one.

I can't wait to welcome you to the Bliss Yoga Bath community.

Calm. Connect. Bloom. 🌿

Empower - Yogabellies 300hr CYT

In 2022-2023, I completed the EMPOWER™ 300-Hour Women's Yoga Teacher Training with YogaBellies®, a specialist qualification designed specifically around women's health, wellbeing and life stages.

Unlike traditional yoga training, EMPOWERâ„¢ goes far beyond physical postures. The course combines therapeutic yoga, women's physiology, psychology, hormonal health, mindfulness and holistic wellbeing, providing a deep understanding of how yoga can support women through every stage of life.

Throughout my training, I studied how yoga can be adapted to support menstrual health, fertility, pregnancy, postnatal recovery, perimenopause, menopause and emotional wellbeing. I also explored the connection between movement, breath, stress management and nervous system regulation, helping women find greater balance in both body and mind.

One of the things I loved most about the training was its belief that yoga should work with a woman's body, not against it. Women's bodies are constantly changing, and our movement practices should honour those natural rhythms rather than ignore them.

This philosophy sits at the heart of Bliss Yoga Bath. My classes are designed to be welcoming, supportive and accessible, helping women reconnect with themselves through movement, breath and community. Whether you're navigating early motherhood, looking for a moment of calm, or simply wanting to move your body in a way that feels good, my aim is to create a space where you feel seen, supported and empowered.
